Batak Legacy

Batak Legacy is a 150 year old traditional wooden house that originally comes from North Sumatra, transported to Bali and now firmly ensconced in a jungle in Baturiti, near Bedugul. On the first level of the house you will find the dining room, bathroom and kitchen while the sleeping and living area are on the second floor under the high saddle roof.

Batak Legacy is a fascinating example of how a traditional dwelling can be adopted to a contemporary lifestyle, a successful reworking of a timeless classic. Once you arrive, a circular wooden staircase will lead you to a magical view of the rain forest. Offering a beautiful picture of the nature, Batak Legacy is surrounded by well-kept mature trees and lush vegetation, giving the experience of living in the tropical rain forest. Built to respect the culture and the nature, Batak Legacy is a picture of the harmony between the two elements.

Batak Legacy is surrounded by meditation facilities and is relatively close to restaurants and natural tourist destinations, such as Bedugul lake, Beratan lake and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, which give you various activities during your stay. During your stay with us, we provide a car for 8 hours a day to accommodate your preferred activities. (gas not included).
